Texas Republican Party Chairman Tina Benkiser addressed the Republican Party of Van Zandt County at a special invitation Campaign Kick-off Rally.

Over 100 people were in attendance at the Farm Bureau in Canton on Saturday afternoon the 10th of July. Cookies and punch were enjoyed by all as the party faithful heard Chairman Benkiser encourage participation and support of our conservative Republican Party candidates all the way from the local Tax Assessor collector, Sheriff and Commissioner races to the Presidential race headlined by our own Texan George W. Bush.

Tina praised local involvement, especially such qualified candidates for Tax Assessor and Sheriff as we have in Paul Foster and Don Dixon.

Don Dixon supporters were out in force ... all decked out in their campaign attire!
