Chris Schuttger has been involved in conservative Republican activism since the early 1980's. He and his wife Lisa have lived in Canton for 8 years. Chris works for Capgemini Energy as an Information Technology strategic planner.

He has served as Precinct Chair, Election Judge, numerous local party support roles and has attended State Republican Party conventions since 1984. His most enjoyable service role and honor was to sit on the Platform Committee representing Senate District 2 at the 2004 Texas Republican Party Convention.
